I have found some interesting strategies while playing Halo 3 on xbox 360 and thought I would share. Maybe you figured these out already but in case you haven’t here they are.  

Easy Way 2 Get Headshot Honcho

If you go to the campaign lobby and turn on the campaign scoring. And then select the level sierra 117 play all the way through until you get to the part of the broken down pelican. Pick up the 2 sniper rifles and when you get to the next video you can stay up there and start sniping. 

There Is A Cool Glitch In Halo 3. 

When you go to forge on the level construct and set up a machine gun turret. I don’t no where it normally would work but save the map. Go back to it get on it and rip it off and there should be another turret there when you’re holding the original one. It will give you a lot more ammo which as we all know you can not have to much ammo. 

On the last bit of Halo 3 

When Cortana says “Look Chief, it’s the Sergeants Warthog.” Jump in and drive around but keep to the left. When it opens out, drive left hugging the wall, and eventually you’ll get to a Mongoose. Not only is it faster, but it produces an unexpected glitch. When you jump on the Mongoose, the Arbiter won’t follow, and you drive through the rest. Weirdly, at the end, you are driving a Warthog and the Arbiter is in the back. 

To Get The Famine Skull On Coop:

 You take two (2) scorpian tanks and drive up the slope leading to the small jump on to the metal overhang. Then you wedge the first tank into the gap and then…drive the second tank over the top of the first tank and along the road to the beam.  You can then jump onto the turret and easily jump up on to the beam. You can then use the tanks for what they were designed for! 

Alternative Means To Getting The Famine Skull

Give them a try they are pretty cool at least I think so.

Game-Cheats-for-PSP—Get-Them-All-Here

While I’m sure the hardcore Halo player will find success and gain a firm grasp of the new tactics available in Halo® 3, I think the rest of us may require and appreciate the occasional helping hand. The latest epic the battle for Earth’s survival and the Covenant’s demise is going to test every thread of your determination, so here are some tips to keep in mind.

Trigger Red
If you’re trying to determine an enemy troop from an ally in the distance, or maybe you are scanning the thickly armored legs of a Scarab, let the reticule guide you. If it turns red, then let it rip.

Take the High Ground
Often battles in Halo 3 take place on a hillside or around a cliff. Indoors you will find boxes, or be able to climb a ramp or stairs to a second level. Gaining the high ground whenever possible you’ll have a much easier time locating enemies and avoiding their return fire.

Get the Brutes First
Your objective in combat should be to pick off the more powerful enemies first. This usually means the Brutes. Since Brutes tend to travel in packs, you will want to save your grenades and even some rocket fire for clearing out entire packs of these daunting opponents. The level design can also assist here. Keep a close eye out for exploding canisters near any of these tight-knit groups of enemies.

You Can always Run Them Over if all else fails
We all know a well-trained marine can dish out bedlam and casualties with the rear-mounted chain gun, but don’t forget about the damage you can cause by simply running over your enemies. An entire camp of Covenant bad guys can be killed and removed in a hurry, piloting a Warthog, Ghost, Brute Chopper, or even the slower moving Spectre through these groups.

Rifle butt Em’ but be mind full of Brutes
The melee strikes have always been a staple of the Halo and Halo 3 is no exception. You will still have great success with one-hit kills if you rifle-butt the enemy from behind. I would not rely on melee attacks as you do battle with the extremely powerful Brutes. They have more strength in their fists than even a Master Chief so be cautious.

Nades
It is even more important to remember proper grenade use they are always helpful, but in the Hard or Legendary difficulty, they are crucial to have.

Frags:
These standard-issue grenades work great for long-distance throws and unlike their plasma counterparts, these frag grenades roll after hitting the ground.

Plasma: Grenade
The plasma grenade’s maximum forte is its ability to stick to a target, so use these only when you are close enough for a sure hit on the target.

Spike: Grenades
Spikes grenades do not travel vary far, but they do have a short fuse. So when you get one at the feet of a group of enemies they won’t have the time to flee or jump outside the blast radius.

I hope these basic tips will give you a little bit of an edge the next time you meet and take on the enemy while trying to destroy the hold the seem to have in this version of Halo 3. Be ready and good luck out there.
